Johan de Ruiter:  Chairman, Quanta Fluid Solutions

 
Founder and CEO at Auxilium Gruppe GmbH, Germany and Business Angel at Brains-to-Ventures AG, Switzerland.
Johan served as Executive Vice President Dialysis International of Fresenius AG where he was the initiator and "founder" of Fresenius Medical Care AG which IPOed on the Frankfurt and New York Stock Exchanges. He was instrumental in moving the business from being the number 4 global dialysis company to being the undisputed number 1 in dialysis products and services.

Martin Johnson: CEO, Quanta Fluid Solutions

Martin has been the driving force for managing innovation and product development for several companies. Previous roles included heading the advanced engineering group department of Cornelius and Managing Director of IMI Vision. He has led the development of revolutionary technologies for industries spanning oil and gas, commercial vehicles, consumer marketing and drinks dispensing.

John Milad: Director, Quanta Fluid Solutions

John is a partner at NBGI Ventures, a specialist medtech investment fund based in London.  He is appointed to the board of directors of several portfolio companies across Europe and the US and also serves on the i4i selection panel for the NHS National Institute for Health Research.

John has over 15 years’ experience in private equity, venture start-ups, corporate finance and the healthcare industry.  Prior to joining NBGI Ventures, he founded the healthcare advisory firm Insight Capital, acted as a Special Advisor to Atlas Venture, served as CFO at Nitec Pharma and was an Associate Director of Healthcare investment banking at Nomura International.   He started his career as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers, followed by private equity investment experience at Kirkland Investors in New York.  John is a graduate of the University of Chicago.

Graham Fagg: Director, Quanta Fluid Solutions

Graham Fagg is a Partner of Seroba Kernel Life Sciences Limited and a Partner at Rosetta Capital (London).
Graham has extensive management experience in pharmaceutical R&D and the investment sectors, having held senior roles at Ciba (now Novartis, Basel) in drug discovery, business development, corporate venturing, research planning and partnership management, and subsequently at Catalyst BioMedica, a subsidiary of the Wellcome Trust (London), where he was founding Managing Director.

Rainer Strohmenger: Director, Quanta Fluid Solutions

With over 20 investments in start-up companies, Rainer is one of Europe's most experienced venture capitalists in Life Sciences. Joining Wellington Partners in 1997, he became a Partner in December 2000. His ten years of investment activity involved financing of some of the most successful European biotech companies.
Prior to joining Wellington Partners, Rainer was involved in medical research with a primary focus on cardiovascular physiology and in research on health economics at Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich.
Rainer studied medicine and economics and holds a doctorate in medicine as well as a master's degree in economics.
